This fabric is blend of Silk
yarn and Cashmere yarn; The
percentage of both fabrics is 50.
Cashmere used is of 3-ply. Silk
used is of above 80 gsm. The unique character of this
fabric is that Silk provides shiny texture while cashmere provides the
softness. Silk when blended well with
cashmere and produces the equal quality effect. One more unique feature of this
fabric is that it can produce dual shade affects when dyed.
Caution: -
Some vendors mix Rayon/Viscose in place of silk there by trying to bluff the
buyer because Rayon also gives shiny effect. But whenever you check try to get
a pure 50-50 and compare with that, you will find the difference.
The natural shiny luster is only possible in Silk not in viscose, Viscose
produces dull shine.
